Italia Gardens began in 1931 when Sicilian natives Albert and Josephine Barone came to Flint, Michigan, and started serving hearty plates of spaghetti to local auto workers. Their traditional Italian sauce became a lasting part of the restaurant's story and is still simmered the same way today.

Albert and Josephine Barone came from Sicily with a sauce recipe and a simple idea: feed people well. Nearly a century later, we're still at it.

A absolutely love this place! Sucks that I’m traveling or this would be an every day thing! Loved the waitress (unfortunately forgot her name ) scallops? PERFECT! Shrimp? PERFECT! My son’s kid a menus mostaccioli, and beef sauce? PERFECT! Gordon Ramsey would have absolutely loved this place! I don’t even care about other reviews that gave even less than 5 stars. This place was top tier!

I always enjoy going to this restaurant. My dear friend was visiting from out of state so I took her and she really enjoyed it. She, her sister, my mother and I all had excellent meals. I have lots of issues with food intolerances as well as food no longer tasting good because of chemotherapy. But your spaghetti with meat sauce just really hits the spot for me. I’ll definitely be back.

It smells so wonderful when you walk in to this establishment! I ordered 2 Canolli's to go because I wasn't feeling well but I will definitely be back to dine inside. The staff that I interacted with were absolutely amazing and friendly. It is also very beautiful inside as well.

This place was amazing! We were traveling thru town looking for dinner and saw good reviews on google. Tried it out for the first time. The bread, salads, ribs, steak, and all the pastas were fantastic. The whole family left satisfied, even the 4 kids! Great prices, great staff, and we have leftovers for tomorrow! 10/10
